Foster Care Information

What Do We Provide?

We pay for all of the dogs vet work up until they are adopted. All dogs in our care will be desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heart worm tested and kept up to date with flea, tick, worm & heart worm preventative treatments.

We provide 24/7 support and back up and love to stay in regular contact

We try and negotiate rescue rates for the dogs vet work at a vet close to the foster home for minimal disruption to the foster parent.

In special needs cases when a professional trainer is required, they will be sourced and paid for by us.

At times when we have donations on hand, we are able to supply a foster pack which can include any or all of the following – lead, collar/harness, toys, treats, food etc

What Does Fostering Involve?

Loving and caring for the dog, establishing a routine and providing basic training.

Taking them to any required appointments. e.g. vet visits, training sessions (if required)

Providing food and bedding. We will supply any donations of food that we receive to foster carers when available.

Welcoming a dog in to your home until they find their forever home. This can take anywhere between 2 weeks to 6 months or longer (if there is a time restraint on how long you are able to foster for, please let us know)

Providing a safe and secure environment while helping us get to know the dog. e.g. their likes/dislikes, personality and also by providing pictures to help us help them find their forever home.

If you would like any further information on fostering, please do not hesitate to contact us, and thank you for your interest in wanting to help save a life!
